Opioid Good Samaritan Laws - Collection of Work
Opioid Good Samaritan Laws are powerful harm reduction policies that protect people who respond to someone who has overdosed. This work considers how they can be even stronger by considering the interactions between policy, first responders, and lay-responders. Based on data gathered from Spring 2023 to Spring 2024 for the MACRO-B project.

2023 paper published in the Harm Reduction Journal, based on interviews gathered by the MACRO-B project. Between 2021 and 2022, the opioid overdose mortality rate in Indianapolis, IN decreased. But it increased in Indy's Black community. Why?
